Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Filo Bedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Talon Sypher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bedo's entrance music is Dangerous. A fine choice. The key to victory for Filo Bedo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Filo Bedo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Talon Sypher!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sypher shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bedo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sypher throws an elbow but Bedo slips to the side and avoids it well.
Sypher wants to control but Bedo is keeping him busy.
Sypher throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Bedo works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Sypher is looking for a kimura but Bedo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sypher to get the leverage.

The fighters are battling for position here. Bedo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Sypher prevents Bedo from getting back to his feet.
Sypher lands a couple of decent looking shots.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sypher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bedo keeping moving, preventing Sypher from controlling successfully.

Sypher loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sypher is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Talon Sypher has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bedo lunges at Sypher with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sypher's hand.

Bedo dodges the punch combination from Sypher.
Bedo fails to land with a series of punches.
Sypher avoids the head kick by Bedo.
Sypher rushes Bedo and presses him up against the cage.
Sypher tries to score a body lock takedown but Bedo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Sypher has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bedo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Sypher has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bedo after a bit of a struggle.
Filo Bedo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Talon Sypher.
Sypher pulls guard effortlessly.
Bedo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Sypher is adopting a defensive guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sypher is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bedo defends well.
Bedo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sypher is proving hard to escape from.

Sypher has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bedo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Bedo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sypher tries to improve position but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sypher can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bedo wants to stand but Sypher is controlling his arm.
Sypher is pushing Bedo's head away, looking to escape. Bedo manages to hold on to the position though.
Sypher regains half guard.
Bedo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Sypher avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bedo.
Bedo is breathing heavily.
Sypher makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sypher.
Sypher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bedo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sypher is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bedo defends well.
Bedo wants to control from the top but Sypher keeps moving.
Bedo is looking to work some ground and pound but Sypher has wrist control.
Bedo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sypher's guard.
Sypher controls Bedo momentarily but Bedo frees himself.
Sypher has his feet on Bedo's thighs here. He's pushed Bedo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bedo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
