Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maku Amir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Yudi Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maku Amir could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Victor Yudi Honda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maku Amir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Yudi Honda! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amir looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Amir throwing strikes from guard but Honda blocks nicely. Amir stands up over Honda, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Amir sitting in guard, not really doing much. Honda wants to sweep here but Amir controlling him for the moment. Amir thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Amir wants to control from the top but Honda keeps moving. Amir loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Honda trying to keep a closed guard but Amir is proving a slippery customer.
Amir controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Honda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Honda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Amir gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Amir is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Honda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Honda working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Amir doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Amir manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Honda being controlled here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amir is working Honda over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Amir throwing strikes but missing. Amir controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Honda keeping moving, preventing Amir from controlling successfully. Amir seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Maku Amir has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Amir drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amir scores with punches from side control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Amir working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Honda is rocked! Amir lands a strong strike to the head of Honda. That's dazed him! Amir looking to finish here. Honda is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Amir lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maku Amir! After the fight, Maku Amir was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
