The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Method shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Harrdison pinned against the cage. Harrdison gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Method dodges the punch combination from Harrdison.
Harrdison takes a swing at Method's ribcage but misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Method checks a leg kick.
Harrdison misses with a low kick.
Method checks the leg kick nicely there.
Harrdison just misses with a punch to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Method checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Harrdison connects with a leg kick. Method looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

A slapping leg kick lands for Harrdison.
A nice inside leg kick there by Harrdison. That's going to slow Method down.
Harrdison throws a low kick, looking for Method's leg but Method calmly moves out of range.

Method shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harrdison sprawls well. Harrdison wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Method gets slowly back to his feet.
Method shoots in for a double leg but Harrdison sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Almaz Method. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Method checks the leg kick nicely there.
Method fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harrdison sprawls well initially but Method persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Harrdison kicks off Method and gets to his feet.
Harrdison leaves Method with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Harrdison throws a nice looking combination but Method bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Harrdison gets caught flat footed, as Method shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Method drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Harrdison manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Method has Harrdison in his guard.

Method looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Harrdison is defending well. Method quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Harrdison has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Method celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
