Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lagnus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sakie Dakie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Lagnus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lagnus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sakie Dakie!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dakie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lagnus circles away.
Dakie shoots in looking for a takedown. Lagnus tries to sprawl out of it but Dakie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lagnus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lagnus stuffs the takedown attempt from Dakie. Dakie gets slowly back to his feet.
Bruce Lagnus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sakie Dakie.
Lagnus connects with a nice looking jab.
Dakie looks for a takedown but Lagnus sprawls well.
The fighters circling - Lagnus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Dakie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lagnus on his heels. He'll look to pass Lagnus's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Dakie stays in close to Lagnus's body and controls the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dakie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lagnus's guard.
Lagnus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dakie on the ground.
Dakie is taking a breather. Lagnus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Lagnus looks like he's trying to stand up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sakie Dakie was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Dakie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lagnus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dakie somewhat.
Lagnus shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dakie eats them both and turns towards Lagnus to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dakie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lagnus's waist but Lagnus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dakie off to one side.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dakie shoots in but Lagnus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lagnus scores with a sloppy right hand. Dakie should have avoided that one.
A combination from Lagnus does no damage.
Dakie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lagnus swivels and escapes.
Dakie shoots in for a takedown but Lagnus shows good takedown defense.
Dakie looks gassed!

Dakie shoots in and bounces Lagnus off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Lagnus tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dakie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lagnus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dakie engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
It looks like Dakie might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Dakie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lagnus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dakie has an Americana. Lagnus didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Dakie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Dakie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
