Howard comes to the cage accompanied by Eddie Money - Take me home tonight. Cook has chosen Cormega - built for this as his entrance music. Harold Howard has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cook on the side of the head.
Cook misses with a body shot.
Howard tries a head kick but it misses.
Cook fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Howard manages to avoid it.
Howard connects with a nice looking jab.
Cook throws an overhand right that lands on Howard's shoulder, as Howard tries to avoid the shot.
Cook misses with a wild body shot.
Cook dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Howard slips under a jab from Cook.
Howard swings for the body but Cook moves out of range.
Cook misses with the combination.
Cook lands with a good body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cook throws a hook to the side of Howard's head but Howard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Howard slips a jab from Cook.
Howard dodges the punch combination from Cook.
Cook throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Howard is looking to wear down Cook with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Howard misses with a low kick.
Cook on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cook shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Howard eats them both and turns towards Cook to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Harold Howard has been cut.
Cook slips a jab from Howard.
Cook cracks Howard with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cook misses with an uppercut
and Howard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chris Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Cook. Those never looked like landing.
Cook misses the shot to the body.
A big left from Howard misses.
Howard moves out of range of the strikes.
Cook loads up on a big right hand but Howard slips the punch.
Cook throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Howard avoids a punch combination nicely.
Howard uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cook moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cook is rocked!
Howard scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Cook is still on wobbly legs! Can Howard finish him?
Cook looks gassed!
Howard lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Howard lands an uppercut, right on the button! Cook tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

After winning the bout, Harold Howard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
