Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keith Ha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keith Ha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Taylor!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ha looks to score with a jab to the body but Taylor is just out of range.
Ha throws a head kick that misses.
Taylor misses with a body kick.
Ha misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Taylor fakes the leg kick and cracks Ha in the body.
A combination from Ha does no damage.
Taylor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ha.
Taylor misses with a head kick.
Taylor throws a sloppy head kick and Ha moves out of range easily.
Ha throws a right and a left that Taylor avoids nicely.
A slapping body kick lands there for Taylor.
Ha throws a shot to the body.
Taylor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice body punch from Ha.
Ha misses with a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Taylor is looking to score with low kicks.
Ha scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ha throws a head kick but Taylor moves out of range.

Ha misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Taylor doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ha counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Taylor blocks a head kick by Ha.
Taylor feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ha's calf.
A head kick misses from Taylor.
Taylor lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Ha gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Taylor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like Taylor might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Taylor trying to control but Ha is working from the bottom.
Ha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taylor on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Paul Taylor was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ha looks to land a combination but Taylor avoids it well.
Taylor throws a head kick that misses.
Taylor attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Ha bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Keith Ha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ha thuds his right hand into Taylor's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ha misses with a two punch combination.

Taylor drives through with a takedown into Ha's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Ha wants to get back to his feet but Taylor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ha keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully.
Taylor is pushing down on Ha's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ha is fighting to maintain full guard but Taylor has managed to sneak the leg through.

Taylor is just content to waste time from the top position. Ha takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Taylor wants to control from the top but Ha keeps moving.
Ha can't keep his opponent in guard - Taylor advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ha is staying active underneath Taylor, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Taylor is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Taylor throwing shots but Ha is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taylor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Taylor tries a head kick but it misses.
Ha lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Taylor misses with a low kick as Ha jumps back.
Taylor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Taylor takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That kick from Taylor tenderised Ha's leg. Ha is trying to keep his angry face on.
A combination from Ha does no damage.
Taylor attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Taylor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Taylor moves into the clinch.
Ha tries to break the clinch but Taylor is controlling the position.
Taylor working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Taylor lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ha backwards.
Taylor lands an elbow inside that Ha shrugs off.
Ha wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Taylor has him pressed against the cage.
Taylor misses with a punch on the inside.
Taylor stalling the fight.

Taylor breaks the clinch.
Taylor's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Taylor duly obliges.


It looks like Keith Ha has been cut.
Taylor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ha misses with a series of wild punches.
An inside leg kick lands from Taylor.
Ha lands a two punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taylor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ha is looking to land body kicks.
Taylor throws an overhand right that lands on Ha's shoulder, as Ha tries to avoid the shot.

Good shot there by Taylor.
Taylor walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Taylor tries to land a front kick but Ha steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ha misses with a wild body shot.
Ha throws a right hand that Taylor ducks under and follows up with a left that Taylor also avoids with ease.
Taylor blocks a head kick by Ha.

Taylor gets a takedown into half guard.
Taylor perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Taylor missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Taylor trying to control the action but Ha is working from the bottom.
Taylor is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Ha trying desperately to get to his feet.
Poor strikes thrown by Taylor there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Taylor has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ha's face.

Taylor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ha tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Taylor is in Ha's guard.

Ha wants to stand and escape but Taylor is having none of it.

Taylor drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ha dives on top into guard.
Taylor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Taylor manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ha avoids a series of strikes thrown by Taylor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Taylor looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Ha is bucking up trying to escape but Taylor cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Ha defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Taylor.
Taylor is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ha can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


Keith Ha's cut is getting worse.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Taylor wants to control the pace but Ha is squirming around nicely.
Taylor throws some wild stikes that Ha manages to avoid easily.

Ha is squirming around, avoiding Taylor's attempts to control the action.

Taylor looking to secure an arm triangle but Ha defends it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Taylor controlling his opponent.
Paul Taylor is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Taylor goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ha turns into him and now he's in Taylor's guard.
Keith Ha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Taylor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ha manages to get himself to full guard.

Paul Taylor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Taylor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
