Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robert Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tactac Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Daniels has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tactac Mann! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for Daniels. Daniels fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mann sprawls well initially but Daniels persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Daniels throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mann is trying is best to control the position here. Mann has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daniels is working away from the top position though. Daniels takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Daniels throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Mann to regain full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mann is on top in guard.
Mann trying to control the position from guard on top but Daniels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mann looking to sit in guard and control but Daniels gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels is looking to work some ground and pound but Mann has wrist control. Mann utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mann preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mann is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Daniels is aware though and is defending well. Mann working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Daniels. Mann trying to control the position.
Mann has a closed guard, preventing Daniels from standing up. Mann is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mann controlling the position. Mann manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daniels manages to get himself to full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Robert Daniels wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Daniels lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Tactac Mann has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Daniels digs a good body shot into Mann's ribs. Daniels drives through with a takedown into guard. Daniels makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Mann wants to sweep but no luck. Mann looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mann manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Daniels tries to clinch up but Mann circles away and keeps his distance. Mann gets caught napping as Daniels dives in and scores a takedown. Mann manages to retain guard. Daniels will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Daniels throwing strikes from guard but Mann blocks nicely. Mann preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Daniels missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mann has a closed guard, preventing Daniels from standing up. Mann working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Daniels. Daniels content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mann trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mann's guard. Daniels stopping the sweep attempt from Mann. Mann trying to keep a closed guard but Daniels is proving a slippery customer.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Daniels is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mann has momentary wrist control but Daniels slips an elbow through the middle. Mann keeping moving, preventing Daniels from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Daniels dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tactac Mann's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mann shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daniels defends it nicely. Daniels scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Daniels tries to clinch but fails miserably and Mann counters with a nice double leg into guard. Daniels keeping moving, preventing Mann from controlling successfully. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Daniels has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Robert Daniels wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Daniels shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mann manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Daniels throws an elbow that misses. Mann uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Daniels's guard. Nice move by Mann! Mann with a flurry of punches that miss. Daniels looking for a sweep. Not yet Daniels, not yet. Mann wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mann looking to pass the guard. Mann is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Robert Daniels wasn't doing enough on the ground. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mann. Mann is breathing heavily. Daniels gets the takedown into side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Daniels fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels working the head with strikes. Mann tries to improve position but can't. Daniels working away. Mann is looking to get back to his feet here but Daniels is keeping cool and he's managed to take Mann's back. Daniels is punishing Mann with some ground and pound. Mann rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Daniels has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Mann works to full guard. Daniels stands up from Mann's guard - Daniels perhaps looking for a knockout. Robert Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels lands a glancing blow to the side of Mann's head. Daniels lunges at Mann with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mann's hand. A decent looking cross lands there for Daniels.
Mann is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Daniels steps in with a hook that catches Mann right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Daniels follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Mann looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Daniels!
