The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ironheart blocks the body kick.
Ramirez finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ironheart looks to land a left hand but Ramirez moved out of range nicely.
Ramirez tests Ironheart's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ramirez throws a hook but Ironheart blocks it.
Oooh a lovely combination from Ramirez sends Ironheart down but not out. Ramirez dives into side control looking to finish.
Ironheart is rocked!
It looks like Jim Ironheart has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ironheart is looking to regain half guard here but Ramirez keeps moving and retains side control.
Ironheart is still in real trouble! Can Ramirez finish him?
Ironheart is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Ramirez is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Ramirez lands with some strikes.
Ironheart tries to lock up and control but Ramirez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
A big strike lands for Ramirez! That's really hurt Ironheart and he's turned his back - Ramirez keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Ramirez jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricardo Ramirez!
