Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hot Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Che Rusty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusty dives in and grabs Dog's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dog pushes down on Rusty's head and hops out.
Dog misses with an uppercut.
Dog could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rusty tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dog manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dog throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dog looks to land a right hand but Rusty moved out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rusty looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Hot Dog will probably get the nod.

Rusty decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
