Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cody Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earl Bertane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Grant might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Alice in Chains - Rooster. Bertane comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eminem-Go To Sleep Ft. Obie Trice And DMX kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Earl Bertane told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant throws a big shot that misses.

Bertane fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bertane sizes up Grant with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bertane cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bertane is trying to ground and pound but Grant uses the momentary lack of control by Bertane to regain half guard.

Earl Bertane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bertane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Grant's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
