Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow has managed to clinch.
Ward has Morrow pressed against the cage.
Ward pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ward closes the distance and clinches up with Morrow, looking for a takedown. Ward pushes Morrow against the cage but Morrow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ward takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Morrow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ward moves away.
Morrow doesn't manage to clinch there - Ward circles away.
Ward fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ward shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morrow but Morrow pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Morrow dips a shoulder and cracks Ward with a mighty uppercut! Ward falls back against the cage and Morrow unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ward is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Morrow screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
