Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Redpecayo Redpecayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adama Sailo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adama Sailo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Redpecayo Redpecayo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adama Sailo!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailo thows a body shot but no joy.
Sailo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sailo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Redpecayo's head.


It looks like Redpecayo Redpecayo has been cut.
Sailo looks to clinch

and Redpecayo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sailo won't be happy with that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A lull in the action here.
Sailo manages to get back to half guard.

Sailo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Redpecayo pulls his head out easily.

Sailo looking for subs from the bottom but Redpecayo mounts him!
Sailo wants to try and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Redpecayo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sailo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Redpecayo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sailo.
Sailo has his takedown stuffed

and Redpecayo counters with a shoot takedown. Sailo fights it but they end up in guard.

Sailo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Redpecayo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sailo.
Sailo looks gassed!

Redpecayo slows the pace down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Redpecayo stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Redpecayo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Redpecayo lands in his opponent's guard.

Sailo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Redpecayo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Redpecayo stands up and waves to Sailo to follow him.

Redpecayo blocks a low kick nicely.
Sailo tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Redpecayo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Redpecayo in particular looking to stall.

Redpecayo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sailo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are battling for position here. Sailo manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Sailo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Redpecayo has picked Sailo up and slammed him! Sailo can't keep hold of the triangle and Redpecayo manages to pass to side control!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Redpecayo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sailo to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Redpecayo dodges the punch combination from Sailo.
Sailo tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Redpecayo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sailo won't be happy with that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Redpecayo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sailo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sailo looking for a sweep but Redpecayo has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Redpecayo is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Sailo is breathing heavily.

Redpecayo lands a nice looking body shot.
Redpecayo wants to slow Sailo down by chopping away at his legs.
Redpecayo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sailo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Redpecayo closes the distance and clinches.

Redpecayo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Redpecayo Redpecayo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Redpecayo is looking to take a break and control but Sailo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Redpecayo has control of an arm but Sailo manages to advance to Redpecayo's back!

Redpecayo has good solid back control here.
Sailo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Redpecayo controlling the pace for now.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sailo is trying desperately to improve position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Sailo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Redpecayo has picked Sailo up and slammed him! Sailo can't keep hold of the triangle and Redpecayo manages to pass to side control!

You can see the frustration on Sailo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Redpecayo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Redpecayo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sailo's guard.

Sailo has an active guard here but Redpecayo has managed to pass into half guard.
Sailo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Sailo wants to control but Redpecayo passes into side.
Redpecayo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sailo's shoulder. That is not cool.
Sailo is looking to regain half guard here but Redpecayo keeps moving and retains side control.
Redpecayo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Redpecayo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Redpecayo avoids the body shot from Sailo.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sailo enables Redpecayo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sailo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Redpecayo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sailo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Redpecayo sprawls well. Redpecayo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sailo gets slowly back to his feet.

Redpecayo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Redpecayo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
