Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Anderton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luiz Anderton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Fitch! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderton wants to clinch. Fitch closes the distance and clinches. Anderton is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Fitch decides to pull guard. Anderton wants to control from the top but Fitch keeps moving. Fitch is trying to control the position but Anderton postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fitch is keeping the position for now. Fitch wriggles free and stands up. Fitch has closed the distance and engaged Anderton in a clinch.
Fitch is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Anderton can't fight it off and eventually Fitch manages to take the fight to the floor. Anderton looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fitch stopping the sweep attempt from Anderton.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitch's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fitch throws an elbow that misses. Anderton uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fitch's guard. Nice move by Anderton! Anderton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Anderton postures up.
Fitch wants to sweep here but Anderton controlling him for the moment. Anderton postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fitch looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jon Fitch. Anderton misses with a few strikes there.
Fitch tries to keep at a distance but Anderton has taken the fight into the clinch. Anderton is looking to control Fitch's arms but Fitch gets an underhook and turns him. Now Anderton has his back to the cage. Fitch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fitch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fitch trying to control but Anderton is working from the bottom. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anderton working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitch stays in close to Anderton's body and controls the position. Anderton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Anderton is looking for a triangle but Fitch pushes his legs off easily.
Fitch passes into half guard. Anderton is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fitch wants to control but Anderton is keeping him busy. Fitch wants to stand up but Anderton is controlling the position.
Fitch tries to pass to full mount but Anderton defends it. Fitch sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Anderton defending well though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fitch not doing much here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Fitch dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fitch fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anderton sprawls well initially but Fitch persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Anderton looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fitch passes the guard and advances to mount! Anderton flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Anderton wants to hold on but Fitch pushes him away. Anderton wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitch scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fitch controlling from mount. Fitch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderton is working to get back to half guard.
Anderton tries to lock up and control but Fitch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderton flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Fitch landing strikes, looking to finish! Fitch looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Fitch controlling from the full mount. Anderton slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fitch is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Anderton defends it well. Anderton wants to improve his position but Fitch is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitch wants to pass the guard but Anderton is defending well. Anderton looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Fitch is keen to just control but Anderton is a slippery customer. Fitch is pressing down on Anderton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Anderton is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fitch thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fitch looks to land a strike but Anderton avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Fitch wants to control from the top but Anderton keeps moving. Fitch looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jon Fitch wasn't active enough on the ground. Fitch is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Fitch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Anderton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Fitch throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Fitch has closed the distance and engaged Anderton in a clinch.
Fitch has Anderton pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Fitch pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Anderton tumbling to the mat - Fitch dives into Anderton's guard. Fitch looking to sit in guard and control but Anderton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fitch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitch trying to keep a closed guard but Anderton is proving a slippery customer.
Fitch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fitch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderton's guard. Anderton is looking for a triangle but Fitch pushes his legs off easily.
Fitch won't allow Anderton to get back to his feet. Fitch gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fitch misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Anderton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A combination from Anderton does no damage. Anderton misses the shot to the body. Fitch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Anderton misses with a series of wild punches.
Fitch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fitch is in the full mount, landing strikes. Fitch connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Fitch trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitch swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Anderton is now in Fitch's guard. A big mistake from Fitch there, giving up the dominant position! Fitch pushes Anderton off and gets back to his feet.
Fitch takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fitch shoots in for a takedown but Anderton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fitch has a takedown stuffed. Fitch takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Anderton fails to land the takedown. Anderton closes the distance and lands a one-two. Anderton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fitch's head backwards. Fitch throws a sloppy head kick and Anderton moves out of range easily. Anderton throws an overhand right that lands on Fitch's shoulder, as Fitch tries to avoid the shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A punch combination from Anderton misses. Anderton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fitch moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fitch keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Anderton. Luiz Anderton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jon Fitch is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Luiz Anderton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anderton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fitch was well out of range. Poor timing from Anderton.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Fitch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Fitch winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
