The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Phoenix creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Phoenix looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Guerreiro is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Phoenix works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Guerreiro has control of an arm but Phoenix manages to advance to Phoenix's back!
Phoenix lands a shot to the head.
Phoenix is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Guerreiro rolls, trying to escape but Phoenix keeps control of the position.

Phoenix has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Phoenix is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Phoenix connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Guerreiro to escape the position.
Guerreiro is trying to roll into a better position but Phoenix has get a rear naked choke and Guerreiro is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
