Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Rizzo Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Storm might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ThunderStruck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Rizzo Jr! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rizzo Jr moves into the clinch successfully.
Rizzo Jr displaying some good clinch control by pressing Storm up against the cage. Storm is trying to drag Rizzo Jr to the mat but Rizzo Jr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Nice elbow from Rizzo Jr. Rizzo Jr with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Rizzo Jr lands a left hand that snaps the head of Storm backwards. Storm tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rizzo Jr just stands there and leans against the cage. Rizzo Jr content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Rizzo Jr using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Storm has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rizzo Jr is pushing Storm up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Rizzo Jr is pressed up against the cage. Storm has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rizzo Jr down to the mat. Rizzo Jr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Rizzo Jr throws a head kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rizzo Jr throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Rizzo Jr moves into the clinch. Storm breaks from the clinch.
Rizzo Jr moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Storm walks into a stiff left hand from Rizzo Jr. Storm tries to clinch up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Storm takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rizzo Jr plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The fight moves into the clinch position. Rizzo Jr gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Storm wants a takedown but no success here.
Rizzo Jr is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Storm is breathing heavily. Rizzo Jr throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Storm blocks it with crossed arms.

Storm jumps guard and drags Rizzo Jr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Rizzo Jr is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Rizzo Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Storm is retaining full guard. Storm looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rizzo Jr passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Storm looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rizzo Jr perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rizzo Jr tries to stand but can't do so whilst Storm controls his leg. Rizzo Jr is figuring out what he wants to do next. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Rizzo Jr dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Frank Rizzo Jr seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Storm blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Rizzo Jr trying to land knees to the body.

Storm is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Rizzo Jr is defending well. Rizzo Jr stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Storm has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rizzo Jr is trying to keep an underhook but Storm manages to get the takedown into half guard. Storm is trying for a kimura here. Rizzo Jr looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Storm wins by kimura!
