Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Litter is looking to control Penn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Litter avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Penn passes the guard and advances to mount! Penn with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Litter wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Penn is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Litter is defending well though. Penn let's go of the attempt for now. Penn avoiding Litter 's attempts to control his hands. Litter defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Penn has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Litter has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's one minute gone in the round. Litter manages to reverse the position and now he's in Penn's guard. Nice work there by Litter.
Penn looking for a sweep. Not yet Penn, not yet. Penn is breathing heavily. Litter throws and elbow that misses. Penn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Litter's guard. Nice move by Penn! Litter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Litter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Penn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Litter has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Penn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Litter. Penn is putting a hurting on Litter here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Litter tries to bench press Penn off him but Penn keeps the position. Litter can't do much from the bottom here. Litter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Penn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Penn tries to advance to mount but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Litter tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Penn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Litter trying to keep a closed guard but Penn is proving a slippery customer.
Penn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Litter swivels though and keeps the full guard. Penn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Litter is trying to keep Penn in close.
Penn preventing the sweep. Litter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Penn's guard. Penn can't keep his opponent in guard - Litter advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Litter seems to be working for a kimura but Penn defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn wants to improve his position but Litter is controlling well.
Penn won't allow Litter to pass to mount. Penn tries to get to full guard but Litter has control of the leg. Litter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Penn is looking to improve his position.
Penn actively working from the bottom here. Penn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Penn dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Penn scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Penn is trying to move to mount but Litter reverses beautifully and ends up in Penn's guard. Penn keeping moving, preventing Litter from controlling successfully. Penn is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Litter rolls with it to try and escape but Penn cranks on the arm and Litter is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
