The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acougue drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Acougue stands and steps away. Silva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Acougue sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Acougue fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Acougue persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva tries to roll over but Acougue keeps him under control.
