Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chael Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samir Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chael Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samir Vasquez! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice defenses there by Vasquez. Bravo throws a hook to the side of Vasquez's head but Vasquez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vasquez misses with a hook. Bravo ducked under it nicely. Bravo misses with a hook. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Bravo thows a body shot but no joy. Left hook, right uppercut from Bravo. Bravo lands with a nice combination. Vasquez backs away looking to recover. Bravo misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasquez gets a double leg takedown into Bravo's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bravo is controlling Vasquez's posture. Vasquez looking to pass the guard. Bravo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vasquez is controlling him. Vasquez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasquez wants to control from the top but Bravo keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Horrible takedown by Vasquez or perhaps it was just good defense by Bravo which made him look bad. Bravo throws a jab but it's blocked by Vasquez. Vasquez tries for a takedown but Bravo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chael Bravo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samir Vasquez. Vasquez has his takedown stuffed and Bravo counters with a body kick that stops Vasquez in his tracks momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut there from Bravo. Bravo misses with a combination
and Vasquez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bravo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Bravo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vasquez backs up against the cage.
Vasquez on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Samir Vasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vasquez throws an overhand right that lands on Bravo's shoulder, as Bravo tries to avoid the shot. Vasquez lands with a cross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vasquez takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bravo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A big right from Bravo misses. Bravo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vasquez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Chael Bravo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bravo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Vasquez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vasquez misses with an uppercut
enabling Bravo to counter with a crisp jab. Bravo slips a straight right by Vasquez. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chael Bravo will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Vasquez counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Vasquez is pressing down on Bravo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bravo is holding on for now. Vasquez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Vasquez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bravo sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vasquez is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasquez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bravo's head. Vasquez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Vasquez trying to pass the guard but Bravo defending well. Vasquez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bravo sees it coming and defends easily. Vasquez is trying to control the action in half guard but Bravo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bravo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vasquez on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bravo tries to get to full guard but Vasquez has control of the leg. Bravo wants to get back to full guard but Vasquez has mounted him! Bravo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Vasquez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bravo tries to reverse the position but Vasquez maintains control. Vasquez tries to control but Bravo wriggling away. Vasquez controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bravo is trying to escape the mount.
Vasquez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bravo is looking to escape. Vasquez sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Samir Vasquez wasn't active enough on the ground. Vasquez looking to score a takedown here. Bravo is defending well but Vasquez drives through and ends up in Bravo's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vasquez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samir Vasquez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasquez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vasquez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bravo is trying to control Vasquez's posture but Vasquez avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vasquez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bravo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The ground and pound from Vasquez seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bravo is looking to regain half guard here but Vasquez keeps moving and retains side control. Bravo prevents Vasquez from improving position. Vasquez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on Bravo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Samir Vasquez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Vasquez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
