Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lord Raiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Pearse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raiden's entrance music is Raiden's Theme. A fine choice. Lord Raiden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearse doesn't manage to clinch there - Raiden circles away.
Raiden scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Pearse's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Raiden connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pearse scrambles back to his feet.
Pearse blocks a head kick by Raiden.
Raiden pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Pearse looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pearse drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pearse jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pearse slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pearse is working to tighten is grip on Raiden's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Raiden has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pearse is really squeezing tight and eventually Raiden passes out! Pearse breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
