Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy The Bar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathers kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Go To Sleep. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mathers closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Bar circles away. Mathers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The Bar sprawls well initially but Mathers persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The Bar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mathers trying to pass the guard but The Bar defending well. Mathers trying to control from half guard but The Bar is working away. Mathers thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed The Bar's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Bar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The Bar is trying to stand back up but Mathers is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mathers prevents The Bar from improving his position. Mathers trying to control the action but The Bar is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mathers looks for a takedown but The Bar sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Bar throws a series of punches but Mathers moves out of range. The Bar tries for a takedown but Mathers circles away easily and Mathers counters with a nice double leg into guard. The Bar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mathers is one step ahead there. Mathers wants to stand but The Bar has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mathers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mathers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The Bar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Bar tries to strike from the bottom.
The Bar is pulling down on Mathers's head. It's preventing any offense from Mathers, at least for the moment. The Bar looks gassed!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mathers looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for The Bar! The Bar manages to regain half guard. Good work. Mathers is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for The Bar! The Bar can't escape the position.
The Bar tries to hold on but Mathers pushes him away. The Bar wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mathers looking to secure an arm triangle but The Bar defends it well. The Bar regains half guard. The Bar wants to get back to full guard. Mathers trying to mount his opponent but The Bar defends it. The Bar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mathers slips a nice elbow through The Bar's hands, connecting with The Bar's forehead. Mathers is trying for a kimura here. The Bar looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Mathers wins by kimura!
