The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico stuffs the takedown.

Rico fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Seward manages to avoid it.

Seward drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rico looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rico looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rico!

Rico content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Rico has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Seward shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rico as he jumps to the side.

Rico avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rico rushes Seward and presses him up against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rico wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Seward has him pressed against the cage.
Rico lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Seward backwards.

Seward is looking to break free of the clinch but Rico has double underhooks.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uncle Rico dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Seward throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Rico counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Rico avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Seward takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Seward is rocked!
Rico scores with a shot to the body.
Oh Seward is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
William Seward is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Rico knocks Seward out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
