The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gent drives through and clinches with Santos against the cage.
Gent is trying to break the clinch but Santos is controlling him.
Gent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Santos scores a takedown into full mount!
Santos throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gent because Santos loaded up on that one.
Gent is in a horrible position here. Santos smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Santos misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Santos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gent holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Santos tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
