Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Cunha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Mantuano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mantuano has chosen Fight Night as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fernando Cunha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kid Mantuano! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mantuano shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Cunha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cunha keeping full guard, as Mantuano tries to pass. Cunha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mantuano controls the pace. Mantuano looking to pass the guard. Mantuano showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Cunha keeping moving, preventing Mantuano from controlling successfully.
Kid Mantuano has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Mantuano closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cunha did well to prevent Mantuano getting side control. Mantuano is working for a kimura but Cunha is defending it quite comfortably.

Mantuano looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mantuano is thwarting Cunha's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mantuano passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cunha! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mantuano takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mantuano raining down hammerfists from mount. Cunha is in all sorts of trouble here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mantuano looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mantuano looking for a guillotine from mount but Cunha is having none of it. Mantuano pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Cunha keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Mantuano prevents Cunha from getting the reversal. Mantuano cracks Cunha with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

A very excited looking Kid Mantuano made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
