The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker misses with a hook.
Woods takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Parker throws a push kick but Woods slaps the foot to one side.
Woods fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it.
Parker throws a series of punches but Woods moves out of range.
Parker scores with a body shot.
Parker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Woods in his tracks.
Parker connects with a solid leg kick.
Woods fails with the takedown.
Parker misses with a wild body shot.
Woods slips a straight right by Parker.
No luck for Woods with that takedown attempt.
Woods takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Woods shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parker but Parker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Woods. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Woods enables Parker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Woods manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
