The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNeal fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McNeal tries to clinch up
and Agron counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McNeal has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Agron finds it's way round the side to connect with McNeal's head.
Nice takedown defense from Agron. No joy for McNeal on that attempt.
McNeal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Agron defends it nicely.
German Agron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wesley McNeal.
Agron lands a nice looking body shot.
McNeal tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Agron swivels and escapes.

Agron drives through and clinches with McNeal against the cage.
McNeal with an attempt at a knee that misses.
McNeal is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Agron gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
McNeal looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Agron wants to get back to striking at distance but McNeal won't allow it.
Agron content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Agron is pressed up against the cage. McNeal has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Agron down to the mat. Agron avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Agron closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Wesley McNeal has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Agron tries to bum rush McNeal with a series of wild strikes but McNeal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Oooooh!!! Agron has knocked McNeal down with a huge combo! Agron steps away and waves a wobbly McNeal back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Agron fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Agron catches McNeal with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and McNeal forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
