Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hezekiah Stoltfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle's entrance music is In Time. A fine choice. Stoltfus has chosen The Chase as his entrance music. Frank Castle had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Castle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hezekiah Stoltfus!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoltfus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Castle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Stoltfus throws the left hand but Castle avoids the punch easily.
Stoltfus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Stoltfus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Castle did well to prevent Stoltfus getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Stoltfus not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Castle avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stoltfus.
Castle wants to control but Stoltfus is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Castle is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Stoltfus is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Stoltfus is looking for a kimura here.
Stoltfus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stoltfus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Castle keeps working.
Stoltfus throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Castle to regain full guard.

Stoltfus throws a big right hand that misses.
Stoltfus looking to sit in guard and control but Castle gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Castle wants to pass the guard but Stoltfus is keeping the position.

Stoltfus is trying to keep Castle in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stoltfus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Castle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Castle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Frank Castle just wasn't active enough.
Stoltfus tries to close the distance and clinch but Castle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stoltfus ducks right into an uppercut from Castle.
Stoltfus throws a nice looking combination but Castle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Good shot there by Castle.

Stoltfus shoots in and bounces Castle off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Stoltfus postures up.

Castle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stoltfus is aware though and is defending well.
Castle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Stoltfus is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stoltfus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Castle is trying to keep Stoltfus in close.

Stoltfus trying to control but Castle is working from the bottom.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Hezekiah Stoltfus has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Castle throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Castle is looking to score with low kicks.
Stoltfus misses with a takedown attempt
and Castle counters with a good low kick that Stoltfus was not able to check.
Stoltfus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stoltfus moves out of range of the leg kick from Castle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hezekiah Stoltfus dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Stoltfus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Castles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hezekiah Stoltfus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stoltfus manages to avoid it.
Castle checks the leg kick.
Castle does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Stoltfus closes the distance looking to clinch

and Castle counters with a head kick that drops Stoltfus to the mat! Stoltfus scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


Stoltfus is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stoltfus connects with a body shot that sends Castle's belly button to the back.
Stoltfus lands a jab to Castle's midsection.
Stoltfus avoids the head kick by Castle.
Stoltfus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Castle defends it nicely.
Stoltfus keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Stoltfus displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Stoltfus misses with a looping right.
Stoltfus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stoltfus doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Castle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Frank Castle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hezekiah Stoltfus.
Castle dips to his left and cracks Stoltfus with an uppercut!
A jab from Castle finds it's way through Stoltfus's defenses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stoltfus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Castle circles away.
Castle dodges the punch combination from Stoltfus.
A clash of legs there as Castle blocks the low kick.
Castle pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stoltfus is out of range and Castle settles back down.
Frank Castle is winning the standup battle so far.
Castle explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Stoltfus is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Castle lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Castle lands a big right hand that sends Stoltfus crashing to the mat! Castle stays standing though and waves Stoltfus back to his feet!
Stoltfus is still on wobbly legs! Can Castle finish him?
Stoltfus gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Frank Castle!
After the fight, Frank Castle was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
