Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trainius Reckus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Trainius Reckus! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sung Kim! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reckus to the mat! Reckus manages to get full guard. Reckus wants to improve his position but instead Kim has moved into half guard.
Reckus is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kim pulls his head out easily. Reckus wants to control but Kim is keeping busy.
Reckus is trying to control but Kim passes into side control!
Reckus is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reckus wants to improve his position but Kim is controlling well.
Reckus desperately trying to maintain half guard. Kim stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Reckus wants to control but Kim is keeping busy.
Reckus keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Kim is thwarting Reckus's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kim not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kim throws a strike but Reckus avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Reckus has a closed guard, preventing Kim from standing up. Reckus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Reckus looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kim passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Reckus wants to get back to full guard. Reckus is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kim's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kim's back! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reckus scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Reckus has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kim's body.

A close round but Sung Kim will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Reckus misses with a takedown attempt and Kim counters with a nice low kick that buckles Reckus's knee momentarily. Reckus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Reckus stalling away here and it's allowed Kim to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Kim lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Reckus! Reckus is looking to improve his position but Kim isn't that keen on the idea. Kim wants to finish this one by submission but Reckus is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kim.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Reckus is now in Kim's guard. A big mistake from Kim there, giving up the dominant position! Kim looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kim is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Reckus controlling from the top position. Reckus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reckus trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Trainius Reckus just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Reckus with a lazy takedown attempt and Kim counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kim. Reckus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Reckus holds on and takes a little breather. Kim wanted to stand there but Reckus had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reckus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kim manages to get himself to full guard.
Reckus wants to pass the guard but Kim is keeping the position. Reckus is stalling in the full guard. Reckus has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Reckus won't allow Kim to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sung Kim will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kim will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Reckus scores with a takedown into Kim's guard. Reckus sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kim looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reckus is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kim wants to control the position but Reckus says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reckus perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kim wants to get back to full guard. Reckus takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Reckus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Reckus is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kim is refusing to be controlled, as Reckus sits in half guard. Kim moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reckus is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Trainius Reckus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kim looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Reckus looking to pass the guard. Reckus stopping the sweep attempt from Kim.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Reckus wants to pass the guard but Kim is keeping the position. Reckus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trainius Reckus clearly takes that round. That's time! Reckus's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Reckus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kim but Kim pushes him off and we're back to square one. Reckus with a poor takedown and Kim counters with a nice double leg into guard. Reckus working a defensive guard here.
Kim loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kim looking to pass the guard. Kim looking to sit in guard and control but Reckus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reckus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Reckus postures up in Kim's guard and throws a big left but Kim blocks it. Kim looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kim is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Reckus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Reckus trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Reckus feints and as Kim raises his hands in defense, Reckus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kim is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Reckus wants to control from the top but Kim keeps moving. Reckus slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kim wants to stand up but Reckus is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reckus wants to pass the guard but Kim is keeping the position. Kim throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Reckus escapes and throws Kim's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kim is trying to control Reckus's posture but Reckus avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close fourth round but Sung Kim will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Reckus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Reckus looking to control and managing it successfully. Kim is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Reckus is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kim has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reckus controlling from the full mount. Reckus looking to control but Kim is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Reckus landing punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kim is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Reckus.
Kim tries to roll but Reckus sticks to his back.
Trainius Reckus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kim is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Kim rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kim is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kim taking some punishment here, with Reckus in his half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Trainius Reckus showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kim has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
