Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nash Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Inferno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dante Inferno looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nash Bones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dante Inferno! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inferno shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bones but Bones pushes him off and we're back to square one. Inferno looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Bones scores a takedown into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bones content just to control the position here.
We're going to have a standup here because Nash Bones wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Nice sprawl there from Bones as Inferno shoots in. Bones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Inferno did well to prevent Bones getting side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bones is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Inferno for as long as he can get away with. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nash Bones. Bones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Inferno sprawls well initially but Bones persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bones with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Inferno tries to get to full guard but Bones has control of the leg. Bones controlling the action here. Bones wants to pass the guard but Inferno is defending well. Bones performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
