Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Liam Nate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrzej Rostowski!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rostowski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nate pinned against the cage. Nate gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nate keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rostowski has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rostowski there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nate looks to land a right hand but Rostowski moved out of range.
Nate rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rostowski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rostowski dives in and grabs Nate's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nate pushes down on Rostowski's head and hops out.
Liam Nate has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrzej Rostowski.
Rostowski fails with the takedown
and Nate counters with a series of strikes. Rostowski will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nate lands a two punch combo.
Nate thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nate misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rostowski shoots in for a takedown but Nate shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nate scores with a hook.

Nate throws a right and a left that Rostowski avoids nicely.
Rostowski shoots for a double leg takedown but Nate sprawls well. He's pushed Rostowski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rostowski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rostowski looks gassed!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rostowski maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nate could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Rostowski has cracked it and Nate is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Rostowski!
