Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Odin Hawkeye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy McFandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Odin Hawkeye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andy McFandy! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawkeye swinging wildly here.
McFandy blocks a head kick by Hawkeye.
Hawkeye tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McFandy drives through with a takedown into Hawkeye's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. McFandy wants to stand but Hawkeye is controlling his posture from full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hawkeye wants to get back to his feet but McFandy is in a dominant position and won't allow it. McFandy pushes down on Hawkeye's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hawkeye looks like he's trying to stand up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McFandy in particular looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Andy McFandy wasn't active enough on the ground. Hawkeye has managed to clinch.
McFandy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hawkeye avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Hawkeye pressing his opponent against the cage. Hawkeye breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McFandy fails to land the takedown. McFandy looks to score with a jab to the body but Hawkeye is just out of range. Hawkeye throws a head kick that McFandy semi-blocks.
It looks like Andy McFandy has been cut. McFandy tries to clinch but Hawkeye moves out of range. Hawkeye throws out a loose jab but McFandy uses good head movement to avoid it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! McFandy wants to clinch up but Hawkeye keeps it at a distance. Hawkeye keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McFandy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hawkeye swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Odin Hawkeye is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McFandy darts in and clinches Hawkeye up against the cage. Hawkeye breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McFandy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hawkeye manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McFandy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McFandy swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hawkeye darts in and clinches McFandy up against the cage. McFandy misses with a knee to the head. Hawkeye manages to break the clinch.
Hawkeye feints a jab promting McFandy to slip. Hawkeye then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McFandy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Hawkeye throws a right hand that McFandy ducks under and follows up with a left that McFandy also avoids with ease. McFandy misses with a wild body shot. Hawkeye swats away the attempt to clinch by McFandy. McFandy fails to land the takedown. Odin Hawkeye has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy McFandy. McFandy shoots for a takedown but Hawkeye saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawkeye misses with a head kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hawkeye darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. McFandy stuns Hawkeye with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hawkeye avoids the body shot from McFandy.
McFandy is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hawkeye rather than just go for the knockout. The fight stays on the outside here - Hawkeye looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McFandy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hawkeye. Hawkeye lands a lovely overhand right.
That has opened up Andy McFandy's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head kick misses from Hawkeye. Hawkeye pushes McFandy up against the cage in a clinch. McFandy tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hawkeye content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hawkeye is pressed up against the cage. McFandy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hawkeye down to the mat. Hawkeye avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. McFandy looks gassed! Hawkeye misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hawkeye lands a slapping body shot.
Hawkeye throws a series of strikes that have McFandy backpedaling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawkeye has managed to clinch.
McFandy taking a breather. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Hawkeye pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hawkeye misses with a head kick.
McFandy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. McFandy wants to control but Hawkeye is keeping him busy. McFandy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McFandy wants to take a breather but Hawkeye is having none of it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. McFandy prevents Hawkeye from standing back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
OK we're going to have a standup here. Andy McFandy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. McFandy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hawkeye manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sloppy strikes from Hawkeye. Those never looked like landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Odin Hawkeye dominated that round. The cut man is working on Andy McFandy's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hawkeye works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. McFandy gets a double leg takedown into Hawkeye's guard. Hawkeye wants to get back to his feet but McFandy is in a dominant position and won't allow it. McFandy stands up and waves to Hawkeye to follow him. Hawkeye swats away the attempt to clinch by McFandy. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hawkeye here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Hawkeye swinging wildly here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hawkeye misses with a kick to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. McFandy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hawkeye wants to try and get back to his feet. McFandy controlling from mount. McFandy trying to control but Hawkeye is having none of it. Hawkeye is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawkeye tries to buck McFandy off but he can't manage it. McFandy content just to control the position here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. McFandy won't let Hawkeye get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. McFandy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Let's hope that McFandy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Andy McFandy has got the better of the ground game so far.

Hawkeye punishes McFandy's body with a nice straight punch. Hawkeye takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Hawkeye throws the kick towards the body but McFandy avoids it. McFandy is looking to clinch but Hawkeye is avoiding it.

Odin Hawkeye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McFandy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hawkeye tries a head kick but it misses.
McFandy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hawkeye quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hawkeye is trying to stand back up but McFandy is controlling him

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Andy McFandy. Hawkeye stuffs the takedown. Hawkeye scores with a slapping inside leg kick. McFandy misses with a few strikes there.
Odin Hawkeye is winning the standup battle so far. McFandy tries to clinch up but Hawkeye circles away and keeps his distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawkeye misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Odin Hawkeye is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McFandy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hawkeye sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Danga de danga de dang - Hawkeye scores with a four punch combination! McFandy is looking to clinch but Hawkeye is avoiding it.
McFandy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McFandy is looking to take a break and control but Hawkeye is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawkeye bucks up and tries to throw McFandy off but instead McFandy has got his back! Hawkeye is trying to get back to his feet but McFandy has full control of the position and if anything, Hawkeye has just worked his way into a worse spot. What can Hawkeye do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
McFandy has his opponent's back but Hawkeye is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off McFandy. McFandy tries to clinch there but Hawkeye circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McFandy is defended easily by Hawkeye.

McFandy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hawkeye swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McFandy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hawkeye was well out of range. Poor timing from McFandy. Hawkeye fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McFandy manages to avoid it. Hawkeye lands with a slapping head kick. McFandy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hawkeye throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McFandy moves in looking to clinch but Hawkeye pushes him off. The fight stays on the outside here - McFandy looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A momentary lapse in concentration from Hawkeye enables McFandy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hawkeye manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. McFandy stops Hawkeye from standing up. McFandy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hawkeye wants to stand but McFandy is controlling the position. McFandy looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McFandy working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Hawkeye wants to stand up but McFandy is controlling him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McFandy scoring with punches to the head and body. McFandy stands and throws Hawkeye's legs to the side, diving into side control. McFandy passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hawkeye! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawkeye tries to buck McFandy off but he can't manage it. McFandy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. McFandy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that's the end of the fight! Andy McFandy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think McFandy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
