Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Fredderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen Kings and Queens as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Fredderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sean Jackson! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Fredderson which made him look bad. Jackson scores with a head kick. Fredderson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Jackson scores with a head kick. Fredderson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Fredderson instigates a clinch. Fredderson is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fredderson down to the mat. Fredderson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jackson gets tackled into the cage by Fredderson. Fredderson maintains the clinch. Fredderson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jackson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Fredderson lands an elbow that stopped Jackson in his tracks for a moment. Come on Fredderson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
With the fighters up against the cage, Jackson throws an elbow but misses. Fredderson manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fredderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Fredderson dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Fredderson's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Fredderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fredderson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chris Fredderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Fredderson or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad. Fredderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Fredderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fredderson is breathing heavily. Jackson throws a right hand that Fredderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Fredderson also avoids with ease. Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fredderson. Good leg kick by Jackson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fredderson dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Fredderson's head and hops out. Fredderson closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Fredderson pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jackson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jackson stuffs the takedown. Jackson tries to clinch but Fredderson moves out of range. Jackson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Jackson wants to clinch up but Fredderson keeps it at a distance. Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jackson gets the takedown into side control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jackson has control of an arm but Fredderson manages to advance to Jackson's back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fredderson tries to get the hooks in deep but Jackson pushed the leg off. Jackson turns into Fredderson and is now in his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Fredderson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fredderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jackson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Fredderson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson wants to control from the top but Fredderson keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jackson lands a front kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fredderson as he avoids it easily. A punch combination from Jackson misses. Fredderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fredderson throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson counters with a series of strikes. Fredderson will be more careful next time no doubt. Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Jackson dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jackson tries to bum rush Fredderson with a series of wild strikes but Fredderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Chris Fredderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson throws a head kick but Fredderson moves out of range.
Fredderson fails with the takedown. Fredderson closes the distance and clinches. Jackson tries to score a body lock takedown but Fredderson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Fredderson takes a shot to the head. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fredderson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jackson misses with an elbow over the top. Jackson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fredderson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Chris Fredderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Jackson. Jackson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

A chopping leg kick lands by Fredderson. Fredderson misses with the body kick and Jackson counters with a head kick. Fredderson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fredderson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. With the fighters up against the cage, Jackson throws an elbow but misses. Fredderson breaks the clinch.

Fredderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fredderson off to one side. Jackson scores with a spinning back kick! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson throws a head kick that half lands.

Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Fredderson tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fredderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson tries to sprawl but Fredderson drives through with a takedown into half guard. Fredderson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jackson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Fredderson!
