Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Otso Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jokinen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to E.S. Posthumus - Unstoppable. Piper has chosen Real Men Wear Skirts as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen tries to close the distance and clinch but Piper swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Piper avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Piper.
A jab from Piper misses.
Jokinen throws a series of punches but Piper avoids them all with ease.
Piper misses with a hook. Jokinen ducked under it nicely.
Jokinen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Jokinen closes the distance and clinches.
Piper blocks a body shot from Jokinen.

Piper lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Jokinen tries to get to full guard but Piper has control of the leg.
Jokinen is trying to maintain the position but Piper is very close to passing his half guard.

Jokinen is looking for a sweep. Piper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Piper working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Piper lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jokinen just misses with a punch to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Jokinen.
Piper throws a low kick but Jokinen avoids it.
Piper walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jokinen cracks the inside of Piper's front leg.

and Piper counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Jokinen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Otso Jokinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jokinen misses with a straight right.

Jokinen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Piper on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jokinen looks to land a right hand but Piper moved out of range.
Jokinen cracks Piper with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jokinen throws a lazy right hand but Piper sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That kick from Jokinen tenderised Piper's leg. Piper is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jokinen darts in and clinches Piper up against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Piper tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jokinen avoids it.

Piper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jokinen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Roddy Piper's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Piper's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Piper duly obliges.
Jokinen works Piper's body with a nice hook.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jokinen throws a leg kick but Piper sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Piper stalks Jokinen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jokinen's face. Jokinen staggers backwards, shaken.
A solid leg kick lands there for Piper.
Jokinen looks to score with a jab to the body but Piper is just out of range.
Piper will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jokinen throws a leg kick which misses Piper's front leg but catches the back leg as Piper tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Piper drops his hands momentarily and Jokinen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jokinen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jokinen feints and then cracks Piper's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Piper down.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jokinen presses Piper against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Jokinen lands a left hand.
Piper wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jokinen has him pressed against the cage.

Piper on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jokinen. Jokinen obviously looking to wear him down.
