Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haile Selassie I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Selassie I is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jah Army. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santiago Colon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Haile Selassie I! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colon scores with a hook to the body. Selassie I takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Selassie I doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Colon clinches. Colon displaying some good clinch control by pressing Selassie I up against the cage. A short uppercut from Colon. Selassie I is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Colon is keeping busy. Colon lands a right hand. Colon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Selassie I backwards. Selassie I keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Colon's efforts to push away. Selassie I tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Colon smiles and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Colon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Colon cracks Selassie I with a good jab. The fighters circling - Selassie I throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Colon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Colon clinches up against the cage. Colon misses with a body punch.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Colon lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Selassie I or not. A left hand lands to the body for Colon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Colon. Colon being controlled against the cage. Selassie I is trying to pull guard but Colon turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Colon lands a nice shot to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colon tries to work over Selassie I's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Selassie I is stalling here.

Colon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Colon stuns Selassie I with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Colon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Selassie I manages to avoid it. Selassie I slips a straight right by Colon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Selassie I slips under a jab from Colon. Selassie I doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Selassie I throws a push kick but Colon slaps the foot to one side. Selassie I throws a body kick that misses. Colon lands with an uppercut that bounces Selassie I off the cage and back into range. Colon stuns Selassie I with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Selassie I avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Colon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Selassie I. Selassie I takes a shot right to the bread basket.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Colon takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Selassie I shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Colon rushes Selassie I and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Colon lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short right from Colon. Colon lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Colon. Selassie I tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Colon lands a nice uppercut. A short right from Colon on the inside.
Selassie I is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A right hand to the body from Colon.

Colon lands a shot to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Santiago Colon dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Colon steps in with a hook that catches Selassie I right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Colon follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Selassie I looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Santiago Colon! A relieved looking Santiago Colon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
