De Souza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Khali's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
De Souza is in close to Khali's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Khali is looking to stand up but De Souza isn't so interested in that idea.
De Souza is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Khali is looking to stand back up but De Souza counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Khali.

De Souza is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Khali!
Khali's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
De Souza has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Khali's face.

De Souza fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

De Souza is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Khali is surviving well by controlling De Souza's body position as best he can.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Khali is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
