Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Darnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Corey Wright has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Wright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruce Darnell! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright swings widly with a right hand
letting Darnell counter with a right hand.
It looks like Corey Wright has been cut. Darnell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wright throws an off balance right hand
and Darnell makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. A big left from Wright misses. Wright misses with a wild body shot. Wright connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Darnell's hands. Darnell fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Wright lands with a right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wright misses with a straight right. Corey Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wright moves out of range of the strikes. Darnell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Darnell ducks under a wild hook from Wright. Wright tests Darnell's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wright misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wright misses with an uppercut
and Darnell counters with a takedown into side control. Wright on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wright tries to get out of the position. Darnell thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Darnell throws a strike aimed at the side of Wright's head but Wright avoids it well. Darnell working the head with strikes. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Darnell throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Darnell looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. An elbow from Darnell crashes against the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darnell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wright has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Darnell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wright is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wright knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Darnell on the ground. Darnell is working to tighten is grip on Wright's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Wright has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Darnell is really squeezing tight and eventually Wright passes out! Darnell breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
