Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brent Celek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Celek comes into the arena with 40 oz blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Brent Celek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Callahan! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Celek defending well as Callahan loads up on a big left hand. Callahan moves away from the strike by Celek. Celek keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A slow jab from Callahan misses its intended target. Celek looks to land a right hand but Callahan moved out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Celek throws a head kick that misses. Celek blocks a head kick by Callahan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Celek throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good standup being displayed there by Callahan as he connects with a hook. Celek wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Callahan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Celek. Callahan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Celek connects with a solid leg kick. Celek throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Callahan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Celek is looking to slow Callahan down with leg kicks. Callahan shoots in for a double leg but Celek sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Celek moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Callahan slips a jab from Celek. Callahan tries to land a body kick and Celek counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Callahan shoots in looking for a takedown but Celek manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Callahan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Brent Celek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Callahan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Celek fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Callahan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Callahan takes one on the button. Celek fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Callahan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Celek. Celek obviously looking to wear him down.
Brent Celek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Callahan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Celek getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Celek with a hook. Callahan throws a right hand that Celek ducks under and follows up with a left that Celek also avoids with ease. Celek pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Callahan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Callahan throws a leg kick and Celek counters with a stiff right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Celek lands with a shot to the body. Callahan on the wrong end of a nice hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Celek throws a leg kick that misses. Callahan lands with a kick to the temple. Celek shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Celek checks a leg kick. Callahan shoots in looking for a takedown. Celek tries to sprawl out of it but Callahan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Celek manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Celek is looking to clinch but Callahan is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Celek shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Celek throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Callahan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Callahan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Callahan swinging wildly here.
Callahan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Callahan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Celek scores with a shot to the body.
Celek uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Callahan. Celek closes the distance and pushes Callahan back into the cage. Callahan prevents a body shot from Celek. Celek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Celek tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Callahan was well out of range. Poor timing from Celek. Callahan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Callahan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Brent Celek is winning the standup battle so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Callahan throws a jab when Celek was well out of range. Callahan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Celek cracks Callahan with a right hand to the side of the head. Celek throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Callahan looks to throw the jab but Celek is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Callahan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Callahan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Callahan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Celek misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sloppy strikes from Celek. Those never looked like landing. Callahan misses with a double jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brent Celek dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Celek looks to throw the jab but Callahan is out of range. Celek lands a lovely overhand right. Callahan swats away the attempt to clinch by Celek. Callahan connects with a right hand. Celek shakes it off. Callahan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Celek defends it nicely. Celek moves out of range of the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Celek jabs Callahan right on the nose. Callahan blinks but takes it well. Harry Callahan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Callahan lands a leg kick that knocks Celek off balance momentarily. Callahan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Good leg kick by Celek there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Celek lands with a good body shot. Callahan jabs Celek right on the nose. Celek blinks but takes it well. Callahan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Celek throws a push kick but Callahan slaps the foot to one side. Celek dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Callahan. That did some damage! Callahan throws a sloppy head kick and Celek moves out of range easily. Callahan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Brent Celek showed his dominance in that final round. Well Celek has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
