The crowd seem to be enjoying Knocks's choice of entrance music: Ultimate beatdown - into pieces. Dominoe Knocks acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knocks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jurcina.
Jurcina throws a right and a left that both miss.
Knocks connects with a single shot there.
Jurcina thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jurcina scores with the left hand. Knocks knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Dominoe Knocks has been cut.
Knocks misses with a wild body shot.
Jurcina throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jurcina throws the left hand but Knocks avoids the punch easily.
Jurcina is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Both fighters circling a little - Knocks finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Dominoe Knocks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jurcina throws a hook to the side of Knocks's head but Knocks sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jurcina lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jurcina lands a left and a right that send Knocks crashing to the mat, dazed. Jurcina thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Knocks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jurcina pinned against the cage. Jurcina gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jurcina steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Knocks.
Knocks gets a double leg takedown into Jurcina's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knocks looking to sit in guard and control but Jurcina gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jurcina wants to control from the top but Knocks keeps moving.

Knocks has a closed guard, preventing Jurcina from standing up.

Jurcina tries to stand but Knocks is controlling from the bottom.
Knocks wants to sweep here but Jurcina controlling him for the moment.
Jurcina wants to pass the guard but Knocks is keeping the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Vitali Jurcina wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Jurcina misses with a body shot.
Knocks fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jurcina lands a nice hook to Knocks's body. Knocks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Knocks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Knocks tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jurcina lands with a short punch from the clinch.
That has opened up Dominoe Knocks's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knocks blocks a body shot from Jurcina.
Knocks tries to pull guard but Jurcina won't allow it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Knocks!
Knocks misses with an uppercut. Jurcina saw that one coming.
Jurcina missing with a left hand there. Knocks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jurcina drops Knocks with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Knocks looks back up at him and smiles so Jurcina waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jurcina misses with the combination.
Knocks throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Look low, kick high! Jurcina uses the oldest trick in the book to send Knocks tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Jurcina is absolutely delighted - when Knocks wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
