Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. King has chosen Blur - Song 2 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anderson Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe King! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from King. Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Silva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. King connects with a body shot that sends Silva's belly button to the back. A looping hook to the body misses from Silva. King does a little dance to reset his feet. Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
King misses with a straight left. King has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.
King stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Silva wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. King has Silva pressed against the cage.
Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
King lands with a right to the head. Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. King throws a lazy right hand but Silva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. King moves out of range of the body kick from Silva.
Silva throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Some bone on bone action there as King checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. King misses with a hook. Silva ducked under it nicely. An inside leg kick from Silva misses. King checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
King throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range. Silva throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Silva swings away with a leg kick that misses. Silva lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from King. King cracks Silva with a right hand to the side of the head. Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and King has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. This has been an exciting period of action! Silva connects with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva feints and then cracks King's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow King down. Silva avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. King scores with a slapping inside leg kick. King avoids the body shot from Silva.
King connects with a right hand. Silva shakes it off. King scores with a jab to the jaw. A combination from Silva does no damage. King misses with a double jab.
Joe King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. King lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Silva is rocked! Silva thows a leg kick but King checks it and King counters with a nice leg kick. Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Silva is breathing heavily. King drops Silva with a straight right hand, right on the button! King follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe King! Joe King decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
