Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Fountain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yo Eshimuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yo Eshimuro told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Fountain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yo Eshimuro!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fountain keeps the fight on the outside.

Fountain got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eshimuro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fountain has managed to get both his arms back between Eshimuro's legs - danger averted.

Fountain shoots in looking for a takedown. Eshimuro tries to sprawl out of it but Fountain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Eshimuro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
