The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stijena moves into the clinch successfully.
Kytke goes for a takedown attempt but Stijena pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Stijena pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kytke shoots in but no luck this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hans Kytke.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hans Kytke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kytke is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kytke has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Stijena is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Stijena is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kytke gets his way!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

I would just about give that final round to Simun Stijena.
