Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Thomas Brow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thomas Brow swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A punch lands to the side of Fernandez 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Santiago Fernandez has been cut.
Thomas Brow scores with a jab. Fernandez acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Thomas Brow shoots in looking for a takedown. Fernandez tries to sprawl out of it but Thomas Brow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fernandez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thomas Brow swats away the attempt to clinch by Fernandez.
Thomas Brow throws a head kick but Fernandez moves out of range.
Fernandez throws a body kick that misses.
Thomas Brow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fernandez as he jumps to the side.

so Fernandez counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Santiago Fernandez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Thomas Brow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Fernandez is trying to pull guard but Thomas Brow has him pressed against the cage.

Thomas Brow throws a head kick but Fernandez moves out of range.
Thomas Brow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fernandez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thomas Brow somewhat.

Fernandez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Thomas Brow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fernandez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Thomas Brow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fernandez avoids it really well and circles away.
Thomas Brow drops Fernandez with a beautiful combination! Fernandez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thomas Brow is looking for the KO!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Thomas Brow batters Fernandez with a massive right followed by a huge left! Fernandez is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Thomas Brow lands a final crushing right hand to drop Fernandez to the mat with a gruesome thud! Thomas Brow is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
