Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Shark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Felipe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shark comes to the cage accompanied by release the beast. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrew Shark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mario Felipe! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shark throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Felipe's waist but Felipe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shark off to one side. Shark rushes Felipe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Felipe jumps into guard, dragging Shark to the mat.
Shark working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
It looks like Mario Felipe has been cut. Felipe lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Shark has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shark working some strikes from top position. Shark with a flurry of punches that miss. Shark postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shark is working Felipe over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Shark in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Shark scoring with some ground and pound. Felipe throwing short punches from the bottom. Shark trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Felipe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shark manages to get himself to full guard.
Shark throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Felipe with a flurry of punches that miss. Shark throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Felipe stands up out of Shark's guard for a moment - Shark manages to land a nice upkick. Felipe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shark striking off his back but it's not causing Felipe any problems. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Felipe has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Shark is proving hard to escape from. Shark wants to sweep but no luck. Shark striking from his own guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shark striking off his back but it's not causing Felipe any problems. Shark throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Shark on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shark tries to get out of the position. Shark striking from the bottom.
Shark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Shark trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Shark throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Felipe wants to pass the guard but Shark is keeping the position. Felipe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Felipe throwing strikes from guard but Shark blocks nicely. Felipe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Felipe drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Felipe jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Felipe looks gassed! Felipe preventing the sweep. Shark trying to strike off his back.
Shark throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Shark throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Shark manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shark putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Shark raining down hammerfists from mount. Felipe is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Felipe regains half guard. Shark working the head and body with strikes. Felipe has hold of Shark's hands but Shark slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Shark takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Shark scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Shark will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Shark takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Felipe actively working from the bottom here. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shark connects with a nice short shot to Felipe's temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Felipe has hold of Shark's hands but Shark slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Shark is nestled in close to Felipe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Shark working the head and body with strikes. Shark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Shark winds up and cracks Felipe with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Shark lands a nice short elbow. Shark lands with a punch from half guard. Felipe on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Shark takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Shark landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Felipe missing with punches from the bottom.
Felipe taking some punishment here, with Shark in his half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Felipe on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Shark drops an elbow to the side of Felipe's head. Felipe is looking for a sweep. Shark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Shark dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mario Felipe's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Shark gets a double leg takedown into Felipe's guard. Shark is in close to Felipe's body, working some short punches and elbows. Felipe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Shark lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Shark distracts Felipe with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Shark with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Felipe is rocked! Shark loads up on a big left hand. Felipe felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Shark looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Felipe can't hide his disappointment, as Shark celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Shark! Andrew Shark was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
