Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Goode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thomas Jensen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dominic Goode! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Jensen! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goode connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jensen momentarily.
Goode throws a nice looking combination but Jensen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Goode will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Goode wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Goode is looking to clinch. Goode throws a nice looking combination but Jensen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jensen walks into a straight right hand from Goode. Goode shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jensen as he jumps to the side. Goode fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominic Goode. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goode misses with the combination.
Goode is looking to clinch but Jensen is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goode wants to clinch. Goode shoots in for a takedown but Jensen shows good takedown defense. Dominic Goode seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Goode tries for a takedown but Jensen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Goode shoots in but Jensen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jensen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Goode counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jensen is lucky that one didn't land flush. Goode is breathing heavily. Goode shoots in for a takedown but Jensen shows good takedown defense. Goode blocks a head kick by Jensen.
Jensen drives through and clinches with Goode against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jensen wants the takedown. Goode is fighting it off but Jensen persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Goode's guard against the cage. Jensen advances position into side control! Jensen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Jensen cracks Goode with an elbow. That is naaassty. Jensen scores with a couple of short elbows. Jensen passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Goode! Goode knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jensen on the ground. Goode is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jensen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Goode is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Goode flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jensen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Goode and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jensen slips an arm under Goode chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jensen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jensen is squeezing on Goode like an anaconda would it's prey. Goode fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Thomas Jensen!
