Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franco Konson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Damian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Andrew Damian has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Konson misses with a looping right.
Damian pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Konson back to the cage. Damian follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Franco Konson's cut is getting worse.
Konson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Damian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Konson's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Damian wants to pass the guard but Konson is keeping the position.
Konson can't keep his opponent in guard - Damian advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Damian takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Konson is letting Damian control him for a moment.
Damian tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Damian has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Damian prevents Konson from escaping the position.
Damian controls the position from side control.
Konson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Damian wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Konson, who protects the arm well.
Damian decides to stand back up.

Damian throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Damian gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Damian manages to break the clinch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Damian, right into the meat.
That kick from Damian tenderised Konson's leg. Konson is trying to keep his angry face on.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Damian dives in and scores a takedown into Konson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Damian wants to pass the guard but Konson is keeping the position.

Damian fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Konson sprawls well initially but Damian persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Konson is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Damian ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Damian no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Konson tries for a takedown but Damian sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Damian throws a right and a left that Konson avoids nicely.

Andrew Damian comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Damian has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
