Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donovan has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Jason Donovan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rey throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Donovan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Donovan looks gassed!
Rey jabs at Donovan's body.
Rey lands a jab to Donovan's midsection.
Carlos Rey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rey dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rey waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Donovan. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Donovan to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Jason Donovan has been cut.
Rey is stalling in the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Carlos Rey.
Rey connects with a single shot there.
Donovan is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Donovan is still on wobbly legs! Can Rey finish him?
Rey lands an uppercut, right on the button! Donovan tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Carlos Rey!
During a confident post fight interview, Carlos Rey thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
