Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ted Smith!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith.
Mitchel lands with a shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by Smith.
Mitchel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mitchel.
Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mitchel looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.
Mitchel misses with a right hand
and Smith counters with a head kick.
Mitchel missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mitchel.
Mitchel misses with a hook
and Smith counters with a head kick. That will keep Mitchel thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Mitchel throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith lands a head kick. Mitchel smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Mitchel throws a right hand that misses
and Smith counters with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith throws a head kick but Mitchel moves out of range.
Good shot there by Mitchel.
Mitchel is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Mitchel misses with a hook
and Smith counters with a nice leg kick.
Mitchel darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mitchel lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Smith falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mitchel dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitch Mitchel!
