Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Will Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baby Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay is looking to clinch. A head kick misses from Hopkins. Jay doesn't manage to clinch there - Hopkins circles away.
Hopkins moves into the clinch successfully.
Jay crunches a lovely knee into Hopkins's ribcage. Hopkins tries for a takedown but Jay manages to get underhooks.

Hopkins manages to pull guard.
Jay trying to control but Hopkins is working from the bottom. Hopkins striking from the bottom here. Hopkins had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jay is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hopkins Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jay's back instead. Jay rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Jay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopkins wants to control but Jay is keeping him busy. Jay trying to control from the bottom.
Jay wants to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jay cracks the inside of Hopkins's front leg. Hopkins wants to clinch up but Jay keeps it at a distance. Jay closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jay content to control rather than advance. Jay tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Hopkins.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hopkins is trying to control but can't.
Still in half guard, Jay seems content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hopkins won't allow Jay to pass to mount. Jay looks gassed! Hopkins makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Hopkins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jay swivels and escapes. Hopkins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Hopkins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hopkins misses with a wild combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hopkins. Jay regains half guard. Jay regains full guard. Nicely done. Hopkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Jay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hopkins is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jay is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hopkins seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Hopkins trying to control but Jay is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jay throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hopkins wants to stand but Jay has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hopkins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jay is keeping the position for now. Hopkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Jay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hopkins with a poor takedown and Jay counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jay prevents Hopkins from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Baby Jay dominated that round. That's time! Hopkins's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hopkins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jay wants to pass the guard but Hopkins is keeping the position. Hopkins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hopkins tries to get out of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hopkins is on top in guard.
Jay looking for a sweep. Not yet Jay, not yet. Hopkins looking to pass the guard. Hopkins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jay on the ground. Hopkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Jay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hopkins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jay is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jay striking off his back but it's not causing Hopkins any problems. Jay bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hopkins's guard. Jay controlling from the top position. Hopkins has a closed guard, preventing Jay from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jay controls from within his opponent's guard. Hopkins is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hopkins wants to hit a switch here but Jay passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hopkins there! Hopkins working to try and regain half guard.
Hopkins is trying to escape the mount but Jay keeps good control and instead manages to take Hopkins's back.
Jay has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Hopkins's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopkins trying to control the position but Jay manages to sink in the hooks. Hopkins showing good submission defense here.
Hopkins is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jay is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Baby Jay has got the better of the ground game so far. Hopkins tries to escape but Jay has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Jay is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Hopkins controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Jay slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Jay tries to get the hooks in deep but Hopkins pushed the leg off. Jay is working the ground and pound. Can Hopkins escape? Jay is not going to allow Hopkins to sit and survive in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Baby Jay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Hopkins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jay keeping control of the position. Hopkins is keen to just control but Jay is a slippery customer. Jay is looking to improve his position.
Hopkins passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jay! Jay regains half guard.

Hopkins with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jay wants to get back to his feet. Jay blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hopkins. Jay trying to control here.
Jay takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hopkins is looking to stall here but Jay recovers full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jay keeping moving, preventing Hopkins from controlling successfully. Jay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hopkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hopkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jay keeping moving, preventing Hopkins from controlling successfully. Hopkins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopkins is working hard here to advance position. Jay manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hopkins manages to get himself to full guard.

Jay drops back looking for a leg! Hopkins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hopkins manages to kick Jay off! Jay jumps back into Hopkins's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jay looking to sit in guard and control but Hopkins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jay wriggles free and stands up. Jay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hopkins but Hopkins pushes him off and we're back to square one. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jay shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jay showed some decent athleticism there.
And that's the end of the fight! Baby Jay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
