Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marc De Ertu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Kazim Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Kazim Belcher is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marc De Ertu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Kazim Belcher! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kazim Belcher slips under a jab. De Ertu slaps away a takedown attempt from Kazim Belcher, before circling back to the center of the mat. De Ertu moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kazim Belcher fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging De Ertu to the ground. Kazim Belcher is now in De Ertu's guard. Kazim Belcher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. De Ertu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kazim Belcher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. De Ertu gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as De Ertu takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Kazim Belcher drops down looking for an ankle pick but De Ertu pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. De Ertu fails with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - De Ertu looks like he's thinking about clinching though. De Ertu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
De Ertu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kazim Belcher to score an easy takedown into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Ertu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kazim Belcher's corner is telling him to maintain position. It looks like Kazim Belcher might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Kazim Belcher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. De Ertu swivels though and keeps the full guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kazim Belcher trying to control but De Ertu is working from the bottom.
Adam Kazim Belcher has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Kazim Belcher fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Marc De Ertu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Kazim Belcher. Kazim Belcher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De Ertu tries to avoid it but Kazim Belcher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De Ertu to the ground. De Ertu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. De Ertu has managed to clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kazim Belcher drops to a knee looking for a takedown but De Ertu gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazim Belcher goes for a takedown attempt but De Ertu pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

De Ertu gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. De Ertu is working for takedown but Kazim Belcher is calmly controlling the position for now. De Ertu drags the fight down to the ground.
Kazim Belcher wants to control from the top but De Ertu keeps moving. Kazim Belcheris looking to pass into half guard but De Ertu pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now De Ertu is in guard. De Ertu looking to sit in guard and control but Kazim Belcher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kazim Belcher missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kazim Belcher prevents De Ertu from getting back to his feet. De Ertu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kazim Belcher drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kazim Belcher jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kazim Belcher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. De Ertu is looking to stand up but Kazim Belcher isn't so interested in that idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kazim Belcher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kazim Belcher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Adam Kazim Belcher will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kazim Belcher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. De Ertu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kazim Belcher sprawls well. Kazim Belcher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. De Ertu gets slowly back to his feet. De Ertu gets a clinch. Kazim Belcher can't get the takedown.

Kazim Belcher manages to work his way to half guard, despite De Ertu's best efforts. Kazim Belcher is concentrating on defense, preventing De Ertu from advancing position. Kazim Belcher is trying to control but can't.

A much better position for Kazim Belcher. De Ertu trying to control the position from guard on top but Kazim Belcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kazim Belcher looking for a triangle here. De Ertu is fighting it but it looks tight! Kazim Belcher pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, De Ertu is tapping out - this one is all over!
