Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karataco TacoTaco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karataco TacoTaco!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TacoTaco blocks a head kick by Hyde.
Hyde throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hyde shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
TacoTaco is in all sorts of trouble here.

Hyde is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Karataco TacoTaco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hyde darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

TacoTaco looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Hyde slips a nice elbow through TacoTaco's hands, connecting with TacoTaco's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hyde not landing any meaningful shots this time.
TacoTaco is pressing down on Hyde's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
TacoTaco looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

TacoTaco looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

TacoTaco working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hyde doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hyde manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hyde is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

TacoTaco had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hyde is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. TacoTaco Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hyde's back instead.
TacoTaco looks gassed!
TacoTaco is trying to stick to Hyde's back but Hyde is turning into TacoTaco. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in TacoTaco's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hyde.

Hyde stands up from TacoTaco's guard - Hyde perhaps looking for a knockout.

Hyde shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hyde showed some decent athleticism there.
Hyde tries to pass to full mount but TacoTaco defends it.
TacoTaco is refusing to be controlled, as Hyde sits in half guard.

TacoTaco looking for submissions off his back.
TacoTaco wants to get back to his feet.
Hyde is keen to just control but TacoTaco is a slippery customer.
TacoTaco tries to get to full guard but Hyde has control of the leg.
TacoTaco is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hyde's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hyde's back!

TacoTaco is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hyde knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hyde for a finish.
Hyde manages to reverse the position and now he's in TacoTaco's guard. Nice work there by Hyde.

Hyde has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing TacoTaco to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hyde is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - TacoTaco pulls down on the head and he's put Hyde to sleep! This one is all over!
