Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Berto Dimagiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximo Katakutan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximo Katakutan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimagiba fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Katakutan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dimagiba.
A nice combination there by Katakutan.
Katakutan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dimagiba at a distance.
Katakutan connects with an inside leg kick.
Dimagiba tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Katakutan swivels and escapes.
Katakutan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Katakutan throws a leg kick that misses.
Katakutan wants to slow Dimagiba down by chopping away at his legs.
Katakutan throws a right and a left that Dimagiba avoids nicely.
Katakutan misses with a low kick.
Dimagiba looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Katakutan is fending him off so far but Dimagiba persists. Nope, Katakutan circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Berto Dimagiba. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Dimagiba or perhaps it was just good defense by Katakutan which made him look bad.
Katakutan connects with a leg kick. Dimagiba looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Katakutan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dimagiba eats them both and turns towards Katakutan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Dimagiba closes this distance looking for a takedown but Katakutan circles away.

Nice takedown defense from Katakutan. No joy for Dimagiba on that attempt.

Katakutan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dimagiba to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Katakutan wants to sweep here but Dimagiba controlling him for the moment.
Dimagiba stops Katakutan from standing up.
Dimagiba postures up in Katakutan's guard and throws a big left but Katakutan blocks it.
Dimagiba really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Katakutan wants to stand but Dimagiba is controlling the position.
Dimagiba loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Dimagiba is sitting in close to Katakutan's body. Katakutan has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dimagiba is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dimagiba is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Katakutan.
